3rd NOVICE MOOT COURT COMPETITION

The 3^rd Novice Moot Court Competition on 27^th February 2024 was organised by the Moot Court Committee of Department of Law and Legal Studies, TIIPS

Moot Court Competitions helps in the overall development of an individual as a good and proficient lawyer. It is the closest experience a student can get of a court room. The students of 1^st and 2^nd year participated in the competition where they were judged by the senior students of the BA LLB programme.

The participants became aware about the basic aspects of the legal profession and their enthusiasm was evidently visible.

The winners were given certificates by Shri Krishan Vir Singh; Chairman of District Co-operative Bank, Ghaziabad, Hapur and Dadri, Dr. Ravindra Kumar; Director TIIPS and Dr. VP Singh; Dean Academics.

Sara Ali secured the first position and was awarded best researcher as well. The position of best speaker was awarded to Rishika Shukla.

The Novice was judged by Rehan Narula, Shivam Dhingra, Ayushman Banwariya and Kritika Goyal and was organised by the student coordinators; Aditi Mehra (President). Deepanshu Mandwal (Vice President) and Ananya Gupta (Secretary).
