Group Discussion on the topic - IPC to BNS: Navigating through Criminal Law Reform

The Department of Law and Legal Studies, TIIPS organized a Group Discussion on the topic; “IPC to BNS: Navigating through Criminal Law Reform” for the students of BA LLB.

The Students of all batches participated very enthusiastically in the Group Discussion. The students initiated the discussion on a very strong point and further led the discussion on different tangents.

The group discussion was moderated by Ms. Pragati Singh and Ms. Bhawna Dhoundiyal. Both the moderators gave important prompts to the participants to lead the discussion forward and made the discussion more fruitful.

A very exhaustive comparison was drawn between IPC and BNS by the participants, highlighting the changes introduced in the new legislation, the requirement of new provisions, and the implementation of the new Act.
